President Ali Abdallah Saleh in Riyadh to a transfer of power in Yemen in the light of the initiative sponsored by the Gulf Cooperation Council.

Under this mechanism, the executive powers to recognize valid Abdourabou Mansour Hadi, Vice-President and Chairman Emeritus for 90 days, to form a national unity Government headed by opposition figure.
Saleh said in a speech to the audience that "it is not signed, but good intentions and begin the hard work and dedicated to a genuine partnership for the reconstruction of the legacy of the crisis."
And called Riyadh and the rest of the Gulf Cooperation Council States and the United Nations to monitor the implementation of the initiative and its mechanisms, adding "I'll be key collaborators with the next coalition Government."
He said that since 1990, declared its commitment to the peaceful exchange of power series methods through political pluralism and democratic party and the freedom of the press and respect for human rights and women.
